Date: January, 2015 Dear Mitsubishi Owner, Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. has determined that there is potential for the All Wheel Control (AWC) hydraulic unit on your vehicle to corrode from prolonged exposure to antifreezing agents used in cold weather areas to clear ice and snow from roadways. This corrosion may result in AWC hydraulic unit failure and AWC warning lamp illumination. Although use of the Active Center Differential (ACD) and/or Active Yaw Control (AYC) feature may be inhibited, the vehicle can still be safely operated. To ensure your continued satisfaction with your vehicle, Mitsubishi is extending the warranty for the AWC hydraulic unit on your vehicle from failure due to corrosion, from the current 3 years / 36,000 miles to 10 years / 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you have already encountered a problem with the AWC hydraulic unit and had it repaired/replaced on your vehicle as a result of this specific condition and have paid for the repair, you may send your original repair order or invoice and original receipt/proof of payment to the following address for reimbursement consideration: Mitsubishi Customer Relations Department, P.O.
