ServiceNews Article November 2016 B16110C Version 1 Aftermarket Radar Detectors May Interfere with GPS Antenna AFFECTED VEHICLES 2013−17 ILX, 2013−17 MDX, 2013−17 RLX and 2013−17 TLX with navigation system Something to keep in mind: Aftermarket radar detectors may interfere with the GPS antenna mounted behind the instrument panel. A common issue that’s been reported from this interference is the vehicle position (VP) icon isn’t in the right spot on the navigation screen. If you get a vehicle in for this issue, try moving the radar detector away from the GPS antenna and retest. If that fixes this issue, be sure to let the service consultant know so he or she can inform your client. But if it doesn’t, then continue with normal system troubleshooting. © 2016 American Honda Motor Co., Inc. – All Rights Reserved Page 1 of 1
