On September 18, 2013, American Honda no fied NHTSA of a Safety Recall for some 2003-04 Odyssey
vehicles for the issue covered in service bulle n 13-088, SafetyRecall: Electrical Noise May Cause
Inadvertent Airbag Deployment. On January 27, 2015, American Honda no fied NHTSA of a revised repair
for that recall.
The original repair consisted of the installa on of an electronic noise filter to counter inadvertent
airbag deployments due to electronic interference. A er further tes ng, American Honda has observed
a small number of inadvertent deployments in vehicles that already received the recall repair. Due to
this, American Honda has determined that the SRS unit should be replaced in all affected units.
Updated SRS Kits are now available for open order, and service bulle n 15-013, Safety Recall: SRS Unit
has been revised with parts, warranty and repair procedure informa on.
ReturnRequest
You must return all SRS Harness Kits (06772-S0X-000) you have in inventory.
No Shipment Lis ng or Invoice is required for this return. These returns will not be charged against your
SRA credit.
Return iN OAR Procedure
1.
Complete the iN OAR procedures.
2.
Use Reason Code “R” with eleven zeros for the Shipper Number.
3.
Use Item Number “9999.”
4.
Enter “SRS Harness Kit Return” in the Remarks Sec on.
5.
When approved an “Authoriza on Return document” via the mail will be received. Please return
parts as normal with the “Return Authoriza on a ached.”
6.
Return P/N 06772-S0X-000 on your returning DSO Truck or normal method of return.
A er receiving the Authorized Return Documents, ship the parts freight prepaid.
You will be credited return freight charges. Order adjustment requests (OARs) must bes ubmi ed by
October 30th, 2015.
