Issue:
Vehicle does not automatically restart when required to do so, after entering eco-stop.
P162F OTC stored. Starter Motor disabled - Engine crank time too long.
Cause:
Sub-optimal PCM software on vehicles within the Q511 campaing Vin range.
Action:
Check the status of Q511 campaign.
• If Q511 campaign is open, please complete Q511 and retest vehicle. If fault
persists proceed with standard diagnosis, Refer to Topix OTC index and perform all
tests related to OTC P162F.
• If Q511 campaign is already complete, please proceed with standard diagnosis.
Refer to Topix OTC index and perform all tests related to OTC P162F. Raise an
EPQR once repair is complete.
• If Q511 campaign not applicable to this vehicle, Please proceed with standard
diagnosis, Refer to Topix OTC index and perform all tests related to OTC P162F.
Raise an EPQR once repair is complete.
