Issue:
A small volume of 14 & 15 MY Evoque (L538) are flagging the the following DTC codes - P0795-04 or P07E3-07 or P0893-07 which are
related to the 9HP48 automatic transmission.
Cause:
Internal transmission diagnostics have been triggered - issues now resolved.
Action:
Update the Transmission Control Module (TCM) software to the latest available version.
(versions at or above the software numbers listed below)
Once updated, retest and if DTC does not occur again release to customer. If DTC captured again, please follow standard diagnosis
procedures and refer to TOPlx instructions.
(Further action post software update if applicable)
Run the transmission adaption procedure which can be located by following symptom path below:
