Today, July 8, 2015, American Honda is announcing a product update for some 2015 TLX & 2016 MDX units for updating
the PCM software to repair a concern that may cause the vehicle to unexpectedly shift into neutral during normal
operation.
Basic Problem
While driving, the vehicle may shift into neutral unexpectedly, causing the transmission indicator to come on and OTC
P0657 (actuator supply voltage circuiUopen) to store. The driver will not be able to select any other gear until the vehicle
is turned off and restarted.
The Repair
Update the TCM and PGM-FI software with improved versions.
Service Bulletin
S/B 15-034, Product Update: Vehicle Shifts into Neutral and MIL Comes On with OTC P0657 has been posted on Service
Information today in support of this product update, and it includes software, warranty and update information related to
this PUD.

This is a software update only. Please refer to S/B 15-034 for more information.
Client Notification
American Honda expects to notify owners of affected vehicles in early August.
As always, please make sure to check iN VIN status to determine if a particular vehicle is eligible for this product update.
