2015-2017 TLX MIL On with DTC P16E5, P0A11 and/or P0A94 Stored
Background
American Honda (AHM) is investigating certain 2015-2017 TLXs with a client complaint of the Malfunction Indicator
Lamp (MIL) On with the OTC P16ES (LIN Communication Error [PCM-DC-DC Converter]), P0A11 (DC-DC Converter
Activation Circuit Malfunction) and/or P0A94 (DC-DC Converter Performance Problem) stored. To fully understand the
cause of this condition, AHM would like to collect specific parts from the vehicle prior to you attempting a repair of any
kind.
Qualifiers
AHM is interested ONLY if the vehicle meets the following requirements:
1. Tech or Advance package with SH-AWD only.
2. Must have one or more of the OTC P16ES, P0A 11 and/or P0A94.
Action Required
If you have or know of such a vehicle, please call Technical Research & Support (TRS) Group at 800-880-1072. TRS
will need to record certain vehicle information and provide you with further instructions.
