SERVICE INFORMATION
CAUTION:
Contamination of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system with fluids other than DEF can
cause permanent damage to the components of the DEF system.
CAUTION:
Putting DEF or gasoline into the diesel fuel system will contaminate the entire system and
can cause permanent damage to the components of the diesel fuel system.
IMPORTANT:
Damage to either of these systems due to contamination is not covered by the Nissan New
Vehicle Warranty and will be the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Vehicle owners must be extremely careful to put the appropriate fluid/fuel into the
appropriate tank.
