The following Repair Procedure has been developed to improve this condition. Repair Procedure NOTE Before starting the repair, ensure the vehicle’s suspension components have NOT been modified, and that the vehicle is in the Original Equipment (OE) configuration. 1. Confirm the condition described in the Introduction. NOTE • Perform the inspection on a level surface. • Make sure that the wheels are on the ground and facing straight ahead. • Perform the inspection with the vehicle load completely on the suspension. • Perform this step with the fuel tank full. • Remove any parts installed in the vehicle which place any unbalanced load on the left or right side of the vehicle. When viewing the vehicle from the rear, is the vehicle leaning to the right? • YES — Continue to step 2. • NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable Repair Manual. 2. Measure the vehicle height difference from left to right. Is the difference from left to right more than 20 mm (0.79 in)? • YES — Continue to step 3. • NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Remove and replace the Front LH Coil Spring assy. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model and model year Repair Manual: • 2010 / 2011 /2012 / 2013 / 2014 GX 460: Suspension – Front Suspension – “Front Suspension: Front Lower Suspension ARM: Removal” • 2010 / 2011 /2012 / 2013 / 2014 GX 460: Suspension – Front Suspension – “Front Suspension: Front Lower Suspension ARM: Installation” 4.
