SERVICE:
From Monday May 9th ,When any 2016 XC90 is connected to VIDA:
To ensure a smooth download check that the battery State Of Charge (SoC) value is at least 70%.
This value can be read out with VIDA under Central Electronic Module (CEM) parameters.
1. Perform Courtesy Upgrade (C10006) if shown in VIDA under ‘Active Claims yet to be performed.’
If the car is not tagged for Courtesy Upgrade, or it has already been performed, continue to the next
step.
2. Perform Recall R89702 Panoramic Sun Roof Switch, (Total Upgrade XC90 Software Product
31483292) if shown in VIDA under ‘Active Claims yet to be performed’.
If the car is not tagged for Total Upgrade XC90, or it has already been performed, continue to the
next step.
3. To ensure that all Software is latest status, by performing any remaining Upgrades still visible in the
VIDA Upgrade list.
4. Install and/or Update Apps.
5. Check vehicle functionality, Perform any missing Calibrations (Sunroof, ASDM, SUM, DDM,
PDM).
Note 1: ‘Active Claims yet to be performed’ will be shown automatically in VIDA when the vehicle is
read out.
It can also be viewed by choosing ‘Planning’, then ‘Claim Types’.
Note 2: These DTCs that may be present after the Upgrade and can be ignored:
- IHU, IHU-U130B87 (LIN BUS #19)
- CEM-U133346, FMDM, system internal failure calibration
ASDM = Active Safety Domain Master
SUM = Suspension Module
DDM = Driver Door Module
PDM = Passenger Door Module
CEM = Central Electronic Module
IHU = Infotainment Head Unit
FMDM = Foot Movement Detection Module
