SUBJECT: New Disc Brake Mounting Bolt and
		 Torque Specification Change
NUMBER: 06-57-16

INTRODUCTION:
This Service Information bulletin announces a change to the mounting bolts and corresponding
increased tightening torque value used for securing the front disc brake caliper support to the axle
housing.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
The new mounting bolts with an integral washer were incorporated at the 2017MY start of
production (SOP).
PART INFORMATION:
The part number for the new mounting bolt is 901260023.
SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION:
The illustration below shows the location of the mounting bolts. The (increased) torque specification
for the new mounting bolt (T3) is 135 Nm (99.6 ft. lbs.).
