CONDITION
The customer may have a difficult time when refueling their vehicle while Ready OFF. The fuel pump
nozzle may shut off repeatedly.
RECOMMENDATIONS
This issue is currently under investigation.
If the condition is duplicated, please take note of the fuel station and pump number. Please record an
engine data list snapshot with the following values during refueling.

Fuel filler opening
Fuel lid sensor SW

Fuel vapor containment valve
Vapor pressure pump
• Please create a TAS case and contact Technical Assistance (TAS) to submit details on any vehicle
identified matching the condition described in this document prior to repair.
• If you are attempting to contact TAS on a weekend or TMS holiday, continue with diagnosis and submit
the requested information on the next available work day. Retain all replaced parts and technician
notes for possible review with TMS TAS Product Engineer.
