If a customer has a Carfinder that is inoperative, follow the procedure in this bulletin to address the condition. NOTE • Do NOT use Techstream Lite. • Software version 10.10.018 or later is required. • Additional Techstream units may be ordered by calling Approved Dealer Equipment (ADE) at 1-800-368-6787. Repair Procedure 1. Confirm vehicle is equipped with RES+. NOTE • Look for RES+ window stickers on the driver or passenger front window glass. • Look for RES+ key tag on the smart key ring. Continue diagnosis using the applicable Accessory Diagnostic Guide. 2. Is the vehicle equipped with a previous ECU? • YES — Continue to step 3. • NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable Accessory Diagnostic Guide. NOTE It is NOT necessary to remove the A-Pillar.
