Bulletin No.: 17-NA-133 Date: Apr-2017 Subject: No Propulsion, Malfunction Indicator Lamp, Battery Cut Off Indicator, and Shift to Park Messages, with DTC P0A5E, P0A61, P0A64, P0A67, P0A6A or P0A6D Set Brand: Cadillac Model: CT6 PLUG-IN Model Year: VIN: from to 2017 2017 from Engine: Transmission: HP9 MRD to Involved Region or Country North America Additional Options Equipped with Electric Propulsion and Auto Electric Transmission (RPO HP9 and MRD) Condition Some customers may comment on one or more of the following conditions: • Loss of propulsion. • Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminated. • Battery cut off lamp illuminated. • Shift to park lamp illuminated. During diagnosis a technician may find one or more of the following DTCs set: • P0A5E • P0A61 • P0A64 • P0A67 • P0A6A • P0A6D Cause This may be due to open welds or cold welds on the flex lead wires for the electric motors. Correction Replace the transmission assembly. Service Procedure If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, replace the transmission assembly. Refer to Transmission Replacement in SI.
