When scanning a vehicle for Diagnostic Trouble Codes technicians may find DTC's that apply to components that
the vehicle is not equipped with current in the radio. Technician may clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code but it will
return. Technician should not replace any components for this concern. Technician can ignore the Diagnostic
Trouble Code that is set if the vehicle is not equipped with the component. GM engineering is working on this
concern and the PI will be updated or a bulletin created when further information is available.
For all 2018 vehicles listed above with IOS, IOT, or IOU please ignore U18B2 and U0196
Condition
Also ignore the following DTC's based on vehicle content (RPO code):
Telematics Module (without UE1): ignore DTC's U18AF and U183A
External Amplifier (without UQA), (without UQS), (without UQG): ignore DTC U18B1
Digital Audio Broadcast (without U2Q): ignore DTC B125B
Ignore U18B0 for the following instances:
MY18 Regal (with IOS or IOT or IOU) and (without UDD) or (without UHS)
MY18 ATS (except China) (with IOS or IOT or IOU) and (without UDD)
MY18 Terrain (with IOS or IOT or IOU)
