2012-2015 Buick Verano
Equipped with a 2.4L LEA engine

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
On rare occasions, an SES light may be encountered due to a P219A DTC
In some instances, a P0300 may also be stored.
This may be due to a fuel injector concern on one of the cylinders that a GDS2 fuel injector balance test may not isolate.
Recommendation/Instructions
This DTC can typically be resolved by following SI diagnostics.
If the GDS2 fuel injector balance test does not isolate a cause for this concern, perform the Fuel Injector Diagnosis (w/CH47976 and CH-47976-500) in SI and
evaluate for a rich or lean fuel injector.
In some instances, a fuel injector that has a flow rate as little as 5% greater/less than the other 3 injectors could cause this DTC to set.
If the misfire current counter or misfire graph indicate any misfires, it may be an indicator of the cylinder(s) that is causing the concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the
remaining steps do not need to be performed.
GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may
occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools,
safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that
your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
