Bulletin No.: PIC6108A Date: Jul-2015 Subject: Diagnostic Aid: HMI USB Programming Models: 2013-2015 Cadillac ATS, SRX, XTS 2014-2015 Cadillac CTS, ELR 2015 Cadillac Escalade 2014-2015 Buick LaCrosse, Regal 2014-2015 Chevrolet Corvette, Impala, Silverado 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, Suburban, Tahoe 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 2015 GMC Canyon, Yukon models Equipped with Human Machine Interface (HMI) This PI was superseded to update the Recommendation/Instruction section, please discard PIC6108. Condition/Concern Human Machine Interface (HMI) damage has been noted as a result of installing the incorrect software when USB programming Recommendation/Instructions When USB programming new HMI's or updating original HMI's, please select Human Machine Interface Control Module – USB Copy/USB File Transfer for each specific VIN you are working on. Using the incorrect USB software loaded from a previous vehicle can cause damage to the HMI. TIS-2-WEB will now check the software currently loaded on the USB. If the files are incorrect for the vehicle, the files will be deleted and the correct files will be loaded to the USB. If the files loaded are correct TIS-2-WEB will indicate the USB is ready and provide the technician a warranty code GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer".
