Product Update: 2015 TLX Cross Traffic Monitoring Audible Alert Does Not Function
Today, December 19, 2014, Acura is notifying all dealers of a Product Update for 7,745 2015 TLX vehicles.
As approximately 3,000 TLX V6s are on STOP SALE, awaiting transmission inspections, there is an opportunity to
address these vehicles now. We encourage dealers to update any new or used vehicles in dealer stock per S/B 14-054,
Product Update: Cross-Traffic Monitoring System – No Audible Alert prior to sale in order to avoid future customer
inconvenience.
Refer to iN VIN Inquiry status to determine which vehicles in your inventory are affected.
Problem
The Cross Traffic Monitoring system audible warning is disabled on TLX Tech models due to a software error.
Repair
Affected vehicles require a software update to enable the Cross Traffic Monitoring system audible warning function.
Parts
No parts are required. Updated software is currently available in MVCI control module update application version
V3.01.40 or later, database update 12-Nov-2014 or later, and HDS software version 3.015.023 or later.

Audible Alert.
Service Bulletin
In support of this product update, S/B 14-054 has been posted on ISIS as of December 19, 2014. It includes repair and
warranty information related to this campaign.
Customer Notification
Acura expects to complete initial client notification by late January 2015.
As always, make sure to check the iN VIN status inquiry to determine if a vehicle is eligible for this product update.
