SERVICE INFORMATION
If the A/C compressor of an APPLIED VEHICLE is replaced for any reason, perform the
existing procedure, Oil Adjusting Procedure for Compressor Replacement, in the
applicable Electronic Service Manual, section HA-Heater & Air Conditioning System, and
then add an additional 70 ml (2.4 oz) of compressor oil into the new compressor through
the suction port opening.
NOTE: Check vehicle service history to confirm compressor replacement and oil addition
was not previously performed. If the compressor was previously replaced and 70 ml of
additional oil was added, perform Oil Adjusting Procedure for Compressor
Replacement only (do not add any additional amount of oil).
