SUBJECT
The DTC’s P2080 and P2084 and a MIL on, may be found on 15MY Conventional models. These diagnostic
codes may be set due to a software detection anomaly that can occur under certain conditions. An ECU
software update to address this condition has been released.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Check the vehicle DTC’s and ensure there are no other codes present other than the P2080/2084 in
the Engine ECU. If other codes are present, diagnostics should be performed as directed by the service
manual.
2. If no other DTC’s are present, clear the 2080/2084 codes and update the software to the following
table.
