//ALL TO: 11/8/2016 to 12/31/2016 Hyundai Dealership General Managers, Sales Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, and Warranty Administrators Hyundai Motor America November 8, 2016 FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: Service Campaign 946 – 2011 – 2014 MY Sonata (YFa) Underbody Corrosion Preventative Service (#16-01-046) Hyundai Motor America is conducting a Service Campaign to perform an underbody corrosion preventative service on certain 2011 – 2014 MY Sonata previously or currently registered in Salt Belt States. Service Campaign 946 provides a procedure to perform the preventative measure. In order to identify only those vehicles affected by Service Campaign 946, it will be necessary to access Hyundai Motor America’s “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen via WEBDCS before starting the repair. The “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen will identify affected vehicles with an open Service Campaign 946. A listing of VEHICLES is also located on WEBDCS, SERVICE tab, select INFORMATION, and select UNCOMPLETED CAMPAIGN VIN LISTING – RETAILED. TSB #16-01-046 is available on Hyundai’s Website as of November 8, 2016. It contains instructions on performing the service and submitting the campaign claim. Customer Notification letters will begin mailing end of November 2016. It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions.
