APPLIED VEHICLES: 2016-2017 Q50 (V37) 2017 Q60 (V37) 2017 QX30 (H15) APPLIED ENGINE: 2.0L Turbo SERVICE INFORMATION The Applied Vehicles are equipped with a cartridge-style oil filter. The oil filter may be difficult to remove from the filter housing. If this should occur, pull the filter straight out, being careful not to bend the housing. If the filter cannot be pulled out of the housing, follow the removal instruction on page 2. The filter housing may be damaged or broken if not handled with care. If the filter housing is damaged or broken, it must be replaced. NOTE: If the tip of the filter housing breaks off inside the front cover of the engine, use needle-nose pliers to remove the piece(s) to prevent debris from entering the oil passages when the engine is started. If a replacement filter housing is needed, make sure to lubricate the o-rings and neck of the filter housing prior to installation. Filter housing may be damaged or broken if not handled with care Figure 1 Infiniti Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does.
