Advanced Technical Information Programming/Coding of the Instrument Cluster Attention: Macan (95B) 1706 9025 9 Binder - Advanced Technical Information Service Personnel Vehicle Type: Macan (95B) Model Year: 2015 to Present Concern: Coding failures of the instrument cluster. Information: Ensure the Auto Memory option is deselected prior to replacing or coding an Instrument Cluster on all Macan models. Due to the numerous options and software available to support those options, coding faults can occur. To turn off Auto Memory through the Instrument Cluster; Select Setting-> Locking-> Auto Memory. If the vehicle is not equipped with Auto Memory, no work around is necessary. If we have performed coding and communication is lost to the Instrument Cluster; perform a Battery Reset-> deselect the Auto Memory-> Attempt Coding Function. If this does not restore communication, submit a PTEC-> Technical Assistance Request (TLAR). Labor: 90252505 Instrument cluster programmed.
