CONDITION SUMMARY:
SITUATION:
The air suspension may not raise/lower with a warning message displayed on the Instrument
Cluster (IC). Upon further investigation, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C1A13-64 may be
stored.
CAUSE:
This may be caused when the air suspension compressor has failed to vent in the allotted time
due to a faulty solenoid valve.
ACTION:
Should a Customer express this concern, follow the Service Instruction below.

SERVICE INSTRUCTION:
CAUTIONS:
◾ A Jaguar Land Rover-approved Midtronics battery power supply must be connected
to the vehicle battery during diagnosis / module programming.
◾ All ignition ON/OFF requests must be carried out. Failure to perform these steps may
cause damage to control modules in the vehicle.
NOTES:
◾ The Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic tool must be loaded with DVD150.03
and Calibration File 274 (or later).

◾ Use DDW to check for Q590 or N024 eligibility. If eligible, perform the applicable
program only and do not continue with this Technical Bulletin. If not eligible for Q590
or N024, continue with this Technical Bulletin.

Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved Midtronics battery power supply to the
vehicle battery.

Switch the ignition ON (engine not running).

Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic tool to the vehicle and begin a
new session.

Follow the on-screen prompts, allowing the diagnostic tool to read the VIN, identify
the vehicle, and initiating the data collect sequence.

Read the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
If DTC C1A13-64 is not stored, go to Step 10.
Any other stored DTC should be investigated before releasing the
vehicle.
If DTC C1A13-64 is stored, go to Step 6.

Clear all stored DTCs.

CAUTION:
Before disconnecting or removing components, make sure the area around the
joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent
contamination.

NOTE:
Removal steps in the procedure may contain installation details.
Install a replacement air suspension compressor solenoid valve (see TOPIx Workshop
Manual section 204-05: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension - Air Suspension Compressor
Solenoid Valve).

Cycle the air suspension 2 times from the maximum height setting to the minimum
height setting to confirm that the repair has been successful.
If a warning is not displayed on the Instrument Cluster, go to Step 10.
If a warning is displayed on the Instrument Cluster, go to Step 9.

Read the stored DTCs.
If DTC C1A13-64 is not stored, go to Step 10.
Any other stored DTC should be investigated before releasing the
vehicle.
If DTC C1A13-64 is stored, submit a Technical Assistance (TA) request.
Go to Step 10.
10 Exit the current session.
1 Select the Session tab.
2 Select the Close Session option.

Disconnect the diagnostic tool and battery power supply from the vehicle.
