VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER ► October 2017 This notice applies to your vehicle: Product Update: 2016 Pilot 9-Speed Transmission Warmer (Transmission Previously Replaced for Transmission Warmer Leaking) Dear Your 2016 or 2017 Pilot previously had the transmission replaced because of a leaking 9-speed automatic transmission fluid (ATF) warmer. As the issue was under investigation when the transmission was replaced, your vehicle needs further action before it is completely repaired. ********AUTO**ALL FOR AADC 926 # 44 TESSERA AVE FOOTHILL RANCH, CA 92610-1928 What will Honda do? Contact any authorized Honda dealer for an appointment to have your vehicle repaired. The radiator and all of the rubber coolant hoses and O-rings will be replaced. This work will be done free of charge. Please plan to leave your vehicle at the dealer for at least a day to allow them flexibility in scheduling. Additionally, there is a chance the engine was damaged because of the leaking ATF warmer. The dealer will diagnose the vehicle, which may result in the replacement of the engine. The work will be done free of charge. Lessor Information Please forward a copy of this notice to the lessee. What to do if you feel this notice is in error Our records show that you are the current owner or lessee of a 2016–17 Pilot involved in this product update. If this is not the case, or the name/address information is not correct, please fill out and return the enclosed, postage-paid Information Change Card. We will then update our records.
