PURPOSE
This bulletin contains important new model service
information and features for the 2018 Outlander (U.S.
models only). Review the details that follow to familiarize
yourself regarding new features and options. Refer to the
2018 Outlander Service Manual on MEDIC, MDL, or CD
(p/n MSCD-007B-2018), and the Owner's Manual for
details on these and other features.

INTERIOR
Updated Interior Stitching Color
Interior stitching has been changed from black to silver
on the steering wheel, hood meter, and shift knob.
ELECTRICAL
Heated Steering Wheel
A heated steering wheel is now standard on Outlander
GT models, and available on SEL with the Premium
package.
The steering wheel heater automatically stops after 30
minutes to prevent 12V battery power outage.

TECHNOLOGY
Display Audio with Bluetooth®
A Display Audio unit with 7-inch touchscreen, HD
radio, and Bluetooth® phone/audio streaming is now
standard on all 2018 Outlander ES models.
NOTE: This unit is not equipped
with the voice command feature
or speech button on the steering
wheel controls.
Refer to the audio system owner's
manual for more details.
Blind Spot Warning (BSW) with Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
are now standard on SEL models.
The power remote tailgate is now standard on SEL models.
