2011-2015 Jetta – Window Switch Replacement

Be advised that when replacing a window switch on the listed models, that the switch is not damaged
during the removal process. It is preferred to use a bone tool to remove the switch from the housing as
opposed to a screwdriver, to prevent the risk of the repair being debited (see examples below). It is also
recommended to remove the window switch prior to removal of a door trim panel. This is in order to avoid
the weight of the trim damaging the switch or the wire harness. Always check the connections and wiring
prior to replacement of the switch.
