Service
When installing new brake pads:
• For customers with a high performance driving profile: Install only front brake pads with part number
8T0698151D. These pads are performance-oriented with harder compound and can withstand high levels of
heat from sport driving situations.
• For customers with a comfort driving profile: Install only front brake pads with part number 8T0698151E.
These pads are comfort-oriented with softer compound and can help reduce dust and improve acoustics.

Tip: If new brake discs are necessary during the repair process, only install brake discs that are 100% free of
damage. Inspect the discs for impact marks or other damage (Figure 1).
If damaged discs are received from PDC, do not install them in the vehicle. Proceed with the correct Warranty
Parts Claim.
