Technical Bulletin Service Apply self-adhesive protective film to vehicle body: Cut the protective film sheet (part number AKL 448 300 04) into 3 strips 12 mm wide x 290 mm (290 mm is the length of the long side of the protective film sheet). Move the glass panel to the tilt open position. Thoroughly clean the contact area between the rear glass panel seal and the body. Apply the self-adhesive protective film strip to the body (Figure 1, in red). Close the glass panel. Figure 1) Area to apply the self-adhesive film (glass panel removed for illustration purposes).
