2016 Option 1 (CPI-Based) Automatic Labor Rate Increase Percentage
The CPI-U percent increase for the 12 months ended February 2016 reported by the U.S Bureau of Labor
Statistics (www.bls.gov) is 1.0%.

Launch of Online Option 1 Enrollment Process
The Option 1 enrollment period is now open and will remain open through April 30, 2016.
The new enrollment process allows dealers to view current labor rate information and new labor rate
information should Online Option 1 Enrollment be selected. The process is flexible to allow dealers to:
 Submit an enrollment form online with an electronic signature OR
 Print and upload a signed form OR
 Email a form to an authorized dealer representative for electronic signature
Enrollment form submission is available via WISE > Operations > Dealer Labor Rate Information >
Submit Option 1 Request: CPI-Based Warranty Labor Rate Increase Enrollment Form
The new screen and Dealer Labor Rate Options section are customized based on whether the dealer is
currently participating in the Option 1 or the Option 2 Labor Rate Increase Process.
The Option 1 (CPI-Based) Automatic Labor Rate Increase Process represents the most widely-used and
accepted industry standard for Dealer warranty labor rate increases.

1. Easy, online, 3-year enrollment process through WISE
2. No repair order paperwork or Labor Rate Survey Form (Market Survey) required
3. Labor rate increases (0 - 4%) occur automatically every June 1
