Tech Tips Date: July 31, 2015 TT 80-15-01 2015 Jetta 2.0l TDI (CVCA engine code) - Vibration/Rattle on acceleration, under mild/medium load The Heater core pipe fastener may be loose allowing pipes to contact the bulk head causing a vibration. Inspect the fastener in the engine compartment that holds the heater core tubes to the air box assembly. Inspect the heater core tube fastener If loose re-torque to 1.5Nm If screw is missing order substitute fastener WHT004564. Install and torque to 1.8Nm. Note: Do not over torque the fastener. The plastic around the tubes may become deformed and damaged. Inspect the heater core clamps are not contacting the air box. Adjust the clamps away from the air box assembly.
