The previous central locking system commands can be determined from the following measured value blocks in
the convenience system control module:
A3, TT, R8:
• The last ten operating commands of the central locking system are stored in measuring value blocks 101 – 110
of address word 09. The value in field 1 determines the source and commanded action as listed below:
0 = unknown
1 = driver door lock cylinder
2 = passenger door lock cylinder
3 = trunk lid lock cylinder
4 = remote control key
5 = remote control key trunk lid function
6 = driver door keyless entry
7 = passenger door keyless entry
8 = left rear keyless entry
9 = right rear keyless entry
10 = trunk lid keyless entry
11 = driver door inside button
12 = passenger door inside button
13 = left rear inside button
14 = right rear inside button
15 = remote/keyless entry relock
16 = terminal 15 on
17 = crash
18 = auto lock
19 = auto unlock
20 = airbag signal failure
Tip: For A3, TT and R8 models the measuring value blocks are only available from MY 2010.

• The last five operating commands of the central locking system are stored in measuring value blocks 50 – 54
of address word 46. The value in field 1 determines the source and commanded action as listed below:
0 = unknown
1 = driver door lock cylinder
2 = passenger door lock cylinder
3 = trunk lid lock cylinder
4 = remote control key
5 = remote control key trunk lid function
6 = driver door keyless entry
7 = passenger door keyless entry
8 = left rear keyless entry
9 = right rear keyless entry
10 = trunk lid keyless entry
11 = driver door inside button
12 = passenger door inside button
13 = left rear inside button
14 = right rear inside button
15 = remote/keyless entry relock
16 = terminal 15 on
17 = crash
18 = auto lock
19 = auto unlock
20 = airbag signal failure
• The date corresponding to the operating commands of the central locking are stored in measuring value blocks
55 – 59.
A6 (4F), Q7:
• The last locking command of the central locking system is stored in measuring value block 17 of address word
46. The value in field 1 determines the source of the lock command as listed below:
0 = vehicle has not yet been locked
1 = remote lock
2 = remote control closed
3 = keyless entry lock
4 = driver door key switch
5 = driver door locking button
6 = passenger door locking button
7 = left rear door locking button
8 = right rear door locking button
9 = auto lock
10 = relocking after a certain time
11 = locking via diagnostic output test
Tip: On the A6 and Audi Q7, only the very last operating command of the vehicle locking can be read. Auto
lock overwrites this value.
