Is the accessory connected to circuit VMC05 for vehicle speed signal? Refer to Wiring Diagram, Section 2413. (1). Yes - proceed to Step 2. (2). No - this article does not apply. 2. Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-14. 3. Program the PCM using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) release 106.01 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com.
