Service Technical Information 105/16 ENU 2130 2 In the Event of Customer Complaint "loss of power" and if the Turbocharger is Faulty: Checking Exhaust Manifold (105/16) Model Line: Cayenne Diesel (92A) Model Year: As of 2013 up to 2017 Subject: Exhaust manifold Information: The turbocharger is damaged by detached parts of the cracked inner part of the manifold. A faulty turbocharger is diagnosed due to loss of power and when the "Check Engine" warning is activated. However, a faulty turbocharger can also be diagnosed if the inner part of the manifold is damaged. Date of Introduction: Remedial Action: As of May 24, 2016, a reworked exhaust manifold is installed during production. Before installing a new turbocharger, the inner part of the manifold must be checked and the exhaust manifold may have to be replaced. Work Procedure: 1 Remove the turbocharger.
