URGENT Stop-Sale on Part# MZ320345 LSD Gear Oil
On December 19, 2017, MMNA was notified by JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation that LSD Gear Oil GL-5
SAE 90 (Part# MZ320345) does not comply with the EPA’s Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Due to this
non-compliance, MMNA is requesting that all dealers immediately stop-sale/stop-usage of LSD Gear Oil GL-5
SAE 90 (Part# MZ320345), and quarantine their supply of LSD Gear Oil GL-5 SAE 90 (Part# MZ320345) until
further notice. Dealers failing to do this may be held responsible for violating the TSCA which may result in a
fine.
You will be receiving an MMNA parts bulletin that will provide further instructions on how to return Part#
MZ320345 to the PDC. MMNA will also be informing you shortly of an equivalent LSD Gear Oil that can be used
in place of Part# MZ320345. If you have any further questions, please contact your District Parts and Service
Manager.
