Issue: A customer may present a vehicle where the rear number plate lamp requires
replacing.
Cause: Under engineering investigation.
Action: Where replacement of rear number plate lamps is determined, please replace
the complete decklid finisher assembly which includes, as part of the assembly, license
plate lamps and the link lead harness with the latest level components as listed in the
aftermarket parts catalogue. Please raise an EPQR and await instructions regarding the
return of the parts by reply.
If you are within 200 miles of the Castle Bromwich plant, before undertaking any repair,
please raise an EPQR requesting an engineering visit to inspect the vehicle and
components 'in situ', and await a response before attempting to rectify the vehicle.
