Production Solution Improved rubber plug and spring. Service Before proceeding, confirm the condition: If the red oil pressure warning light is not on and DTC cannot be reproduced, replace the rubber plug and spring (Figure 1). If the red oil pressure warning light is on and DTC can be reproduced, perform oil pressure test as instructed by GFF (with engine oil temperature at 80°C): If oil pressure is above 0.7 bar after test, replace the rubber plug and spring (Figure 1), then re-check oil pressure (with engine oil temperature at 80°C). The oil pressure must be above 1.4 bar at idle. If it is not, contact TAC. Figure 1. Rubber plug with spring. If oil pressure is below 0.7 bar after test, contact TAC.
