Tech Line Summary Article February 2018 BTS 180203 Version 1 No Phonebook on the ODMD™ Using an iPhone with iOS 11 AFFECTED VEHICLES 2013−17 ILX, 2013−17 MDX, 2016−18 RDX, and 2013−18 TLX We’re currently looking at an issue that when connected to Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® using an iPhone with iOS 11, there’s no phonebook showing up on the On Demand Multi-Use Display™ (ODMD). If the phonebook doesn’t download, clients will have trouble accessing phonebook contacts using the voice control system. If you get a vehicle in your shop for this, be aware there’s nothing you can do about it at this time. So, don’t try replacing any parts; it won’t make a difference. For now, we’re asking the service consultants to have their clients access their phonebook contacts using SIRI (if available). We’ll let you know when there’s a permanent solution available. © 2018 American Honda Motor Co., Inc. – All Rights Reserved Page 1 of 1
