Description
Newmar has determined that certain coaches may have had a substitute water pump installed during the
manufacturing process.
Issue: The substitution pump requires a 15 amp fuse in lieu of the 10 amp fuse that was installed. This does
not pose a safety issue, but the user may overload the 10 amp fuse during pump operation.
Correction: Inspect the water pump to see if it states “Fuse: 15A required.” If it does, proceed by installing
a 15 amp fuse for the water pump and changing the water pump fuse label from 10A to 15A.
Affected Units: See attached population list
Recommended Action
Inspect the water pump to see if it states “Fuse: 15A required.” If it does, proceed by installing a 15 amp
fuse for the water pump and labeling the fuse panel accordingly. If the pump does not state “Fuse: 15A
required” no action is needed. Order fuse and label from the Newmar Parts Department when fuse and
label change is necessary.
Note: The wiring is sufficient for the new 15 amp fuse.
