Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition. Using Techstream, check for the following stored DTCs: C1AB2 – Short to Ground in Outer Mirror Indicator (Master) C1AB3 – Short to Ground in Outer Mirror Indicator (Slave) Is either DTC present? YES — Continue to step 2. NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable Repair Manual. NOTE If blind spot monitor DTCs C1AC1 (Master Module Horizontal Axis Misalignment) or C1AC2 (Slave Module Horizontal Axis Misalignment) are present, they MUST be corrected BEFORE proceeding with this Service Bulletin. 2. Replace the blind spot monitor sensor indicated by the DTC. A. Remove the blind spot monitor sensor. Perform the Blind Spot Monitor Beam Axis Confirmation.
