2016 Jetta, Golf, GTI, Golf Sportwagen, Golf R, Tiguan, Passat,
Beetle (and convertible) – Door Lock Horn Chirp Inoperative
The horn confirmation requires two rapid presses of the lock button on the key fob to sound. If the door
lock confirmation sounds after pressing the lock button quickly, twice, the vehicle is performing as
designed and no repairs are needed.
