CONDITION
Some customers may complain that the gap between the bed and rear bumper or bed and cab is too
large or uneven from left to right. This Tech-Tip is to request measurement data when reporting gap
complaints.
RECOMMENDATIONS
If customer complains of the gap between the bed and rear bumper or bed and cab being too large or
uneven from left to right, please submit a report with the following measurement data:
1. Bed x Bumper Gap – Measure on the outside of vehicle at middle of bumper (both sides).
2. Cab x Bed Gap – Measure on outside of vehicle 225mm down from top of bed (both sides).
