IMPORTANT NOTICE TO DEALERS ‐ FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
On November 06, 2017 repairs for customer‐owned Volkswagen Touareg vehicles included in
Emissions Recalls 23V6 and 23V7 (3.0L TDI Gen 2.1 / GEN 2.2) can begin.
Please refer to the 23V6 and 23V7 Emissions Recall circulars that will be posted to Elsa and
ServiceNet on November 06, 2017 for complete information.
This modification has only been approved for customers in possession of their vehicle. This
approval does not apply to new unsold vehicles in your inventory. Affected Touareg vehicles in
your inventory (both new and CPO) remain unavailable for sale until EPA and CARB approve a
resale plan. A separate communication will be distributed once these approvals are received.
