Subject: Class Bridge Warranty Inactive for 3.0L TDI Gen 2.1
and Gen 2.2 Touareg Vehicles

This document modifies the
Volkswagen Warranty Policies
and Procedures Manual.
Effective November 6, 2017 reception date, the Class Bridge Warranty is no longer active for 3.0L
TDI Gen 2.1 (Model Year 2013-2014 Touareg) and Gen 2.2 (Model Year 2015-2016 Touareg)
vehicles, due to the approval of an Emissions Compliant Repair (ECR) for these vehicles on
October 23, 2017.
As explained in the Volkswagen Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual, Section 3.18 Class
Bridge Warranty for 3.0L TDI Gen. 2 Eligible Vehicles, the Class Bridge Warranty only applies
until the ECR is approved, therefore, Warranty Key U97 will no longer appear as an active
warranty key for these vehicles in SAGA/ElsaPro.
