Some 2009 – 2013 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles may exhibit uneven brake pad wear on
the rear disc brake pads. The vehicle may also exhibit a grinding or scraping noise due to the uneven
brake pad wear. An updated rear disc brake pad kit has been developed to address this condition.

2. Inspect the rotor and pads.
