Complaint:
Window lifter reverses direction on reaching upper closing end position.
In Xentry Diagnostics (XD) the power window system is shown as "normalized".
Path in XD:
XD => Control units view => DCU-xx => Actual values => Power windows => Normalization of power window
Cause:
Software parameter in door control unit (DCU-xx).
Remedy:
Remedy in preparation.
In the event of complaints, and until such time as the repair software becomes available, the power window system
must be denormalized using XD and then renormalized again.
Path in XD (denormalization/normalization):
- XD => Control units view => DCU-xx => Actuations => Power windows => Denormalization of power window
- XD => Control units view => DCU-xx => Adaptations => Teach-in processes => Normalization of power window
The repair software is expected to be available in 03/2017.
Note: Parts replacement will not remedy this complaint!
