Complaint:
Humming, droning from the drivetrain of vehicles with all-wheel drive (4x4).

At constant speed above approx. 80 km/h (55 mph).
When coasting in deceleration mode just before coming to a stop.
Under gentle loads in the rpm range between 1800 and 2200 rpm.
Cause:
The rear axle tends to vibrate (in this combination of drivetrain) and this vibration is transmitted into the interior by the
leaf springs, where it is heard as a noise.

Perform a test drive with the customer in order to reproduce the complaint.
Check the change for conversions, upgrades and modifications (equipment installed as per body manufacturer
specifications).
Create a PTSS case with an accurate description of the complaint and documentation of the actual configuration
of the vehicle.
Case will be escalated to Engineer for analysis.
