Crackling and cracking noise from the outer wheel on the front axle when cornering.
Cause:

Remedy:
Please report vehicles with this problem to AMG-Germany through your local market support department via PTSS.
Please attach the following information to the PTSS case:

Photos of the contact points (on brake disk and wheel) with the wheels removed (see attachment for example
photos)
Note:
Replacing parts (e.g. wheel bearings) does not adress the complaint. MBUSA will advise on a remedy via PTSS case-by-case and will update LI document accordingly. Please be cognizant there will be a slight delay in response time
due to communication in different time zone (AMG-Germany).
