FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET AVAILABILITY
This Pitstop provides information regarding a change to front license plate bracket availability
on some 2019MY Sorento (UMa). Beginning with 2019MY, front license plate brackets will
only be included on Sorento vehicles delivered to states that require display of the front license
plate. Front license plate brackets will no longer be included on Sorento vehicles shipped to
the following states, excluding fleet units:







Alabama
Arkansas
Arizona
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Indiana






Kansas
Kentucky
Louisiana
Michigan
Mississippi
North Carolina






New Mexico
Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
South Carolina
Tennessee
West Virginia
In the situation where interstate vehicle trade occurs to a dealership with front license plate
requirement, the correct license plate bracket must be ordered by referring to the Electronic
Parts Catalogue (EPC). It is important to note that installation of an incorrect license plate
bracket can result in improper fitment as described in PS374.
