Issue: Some 2011-2017 Taurus and 2013-2017 Police Interceptor Sedan vehicles may exhibit a loose and/or
sagging headliner near the high mounted stoplamp. This may be caused by the headliner mounting bracket
separating from the headliner.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

Service Procedure
1. Fold down both rear seat backs.
2. Unfasten the left and right side rear headliner retention clips. (Figure 1)

3. Gently pull down on the rear of the headliner to gain access to the center mounting bracket location.
4. Apply 3M™ Super-Fast Repair Adhesive or equivalent to the back of the headliner mounting bracket. Removal
of the original adhesive is not necessary. (Figure 2)

5. Using mild pressure, seat the mounting bracket in the original location. (Figure 3)
(1). Allow the adhesive to cure for 60 minutes.

6. Reinstall the headliner retention clips and seat the magnet carrier to the roof panel.
7. Unfold both rear seat backs.
